History of Fumakilla Limited

1924-Founded as Oshimo Kaishundo in Hiroshima by Daizo Oshimo, the company begins manufacturing and marketing patented Fumakilla Liquid.

1940-Shanghai Plant is established.

1946-New Lines of insecticides are established.

1950-The company is restructured as a stockholding company capitalized at ¥10 million. Main office is established in Tokyo.

1954-Manufacturing facilities are relocated to the 110,000-squaremeter site in Hiroshima. Production capacity is increased and research and development facilities enlarged to meet a growing demand for insecticides.

1959-The Philippines Plant begins to manufacture Mosquito Coils under technical assistance agreement.

1962-Capital increased to ¥100 million. The companys name is changed to Fumakilla Limited.

1963-Vape, the worlds first electronic mosquito destroyer, is launched.

1964-Capital is increased to ¥150 million. Fumakilla is listed on the Tokyo and Hiroshima Stock Exchanges.

1967-Aerosol-filling facilities and a household vinyl glove plant are added to the Hiroshima Factory.

1968-Capital is increased to ¥300 million.

1973-Fumakilla Italia s.p.A., a joint venture, is established to manufacture and market Vape and other products. Capital is increased to ¥550 million. Manufacture and marketing in Venezuela of Vape under technical license agreement begins.

1975-Capital is increased to ¥600 million. Manufacture and marketing in Argentina of Vape under technical license and assistance agreement begins.

1976-Fumakilla Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., a joint-venture, is established to manufacture and market Mosquito Coils, Vape and other products. Fumakilla Europe S.A., a join-venture, is established in Luxembourg to market Vape and other products.

1978-Capital is increased to ¥1 billion in March and ¥1.1 billion in December.

1979-Fumakilla Cockroach Vape, an innovative self-heating fumigator, is launched. Capital is increased to ¥1.21 billion.

1980-Fumakilla Roach Killer, an innovative aerosol cockroach killer with spring nozzle is launched.

1981-Kadan Series are added to the gardening line.

1982-Vape Roll-in-Cord is added to Vape Electronic Mosquito Destroyer line.

1990-Joint venture company established in Indonesia, P.T. Fumakilla Indonesia for production and sales of Vape and Mosquito Coils.

1992-Developed and started to sell Vape Liquid 30 days.

1993-P.T. Fumakilla Indonesia started production and sales Vape Mat Heater and Vape Liquid Heater in Indonesia.

1996-Joint venture company established in India, Fumakilla India Pvt. Ltd. for production and sales of Vape and Mosquito Coils.

2000-Developed and started to sell Portable Vape.
